I think that "clean food" means that there are no added chemicals (including pesticides or man made fertilizer), or bacteria, or viruses in them. It can also mean that they were raised and slaughtered as gently as possible. It also means that the environment wasn't harmed.
I think that clean food means no added chemicals at all (even in the fertilizer), no bad bacteria in them, and no harming viruses. It also means that the animals were raised in a clean environment and killed as gently as possible. When the animals were raised, the environment should not have been harmed if the food is considered clean.
The term clean food means no chemicals, no bacteria/viruses, no added hormones, no damage to the enviroment, and that the food was rasied/grown naturally and humanely. Also it means that the animal was killed with little pain and it died almost instantly. Clean food also should mean that the food was raised in a place that was clean (the outdoors counts as clean because the bacteria is natural) and does not use a lot of fossil fuel to transport it or produce it.
Clean food just means food with no dust on it. And no chemicals added to it, and hormones, and harmful bacteria, and viruses, and no environmental damage, and a quick, clean death with little pain. (Unless it was a plant of course; they can't feel pain. Or can they?)
It would also have to be grown, harvested, and transported in a clean environment too.

That animal was also slaughtered cleanly with no additional pain or suffering. Also, nothing hurt the environment. And finally, when transported, it has to be in a clean area with as little fuel as possible
I think clean food is food with no added chemicals or preservatives. It should not have harmed the environment at all while it was being made. Clean food should also be kept sterile. Otherwise, it would be dirty food. :) It also needs to have used as little food as possible when being transported.
