Even if he wanted to, it was probably too late. The effects of all the corn had probably already messed up his system and Steer 534 was probably going to die at a young age anyway (growing that fat that fast, I think would mess up his heart).
If Michael wanted to save 234, he might as well save all the cows. Why should 234 be treated any different than another of its species? If we really wanted to save something, we would have to save them all.
I agree with Tam. If he saved his cow, it would not have made an impact on the whole messed up system of feed lots and factory farming. If he wanted to do something with a major impact, he needs to do something major.
I agree with Sara and Chole. If he wanted to save him he would have probably died anyway and also it wouldn't of made a huge impact on the cow system in America.
I think that even if he did save steer 234 the cow would have ended up dieing soon anyways. Plus, it wouldn't have been fair to all the other cows (not that they would notice). Also he would be getting a lot of complants about how he could have saved more cows too.
I think that if he wanted to save steer 234 he should have done it earlier, when the affects of the system hadn't already gotten to him. By the time everyone was asking him to save steer 234, the cow was probably just to far gone. :(
I think he should of but he probably wouldn't have been able to because the effects of corn and other harmful things probably already took affect on steer 234s' body

ReplyDeleteIf he wanted to the cow would have died in a few months. He kept eating corn so he was going to die soon.

ReplyDeleteI think he should have, but like a lot of people said, he wouldn't have lasted long because of all the steriods and corn.
